Project Name: Provision Of Services to Refugees and Host Communities in Umsangur of White Nile state
Project Location: Umsangur – Alsalam locality – White Nile State.

Total budget Amount: About 148,010 USD
Direct Beneficiaries:
- Livelihood Activity (Agriculture): 686 (400 Female, 286 Male),
- Livelihood Activity (Others): 50 (40 Female, 10 Male/ youth),
- Capacity Building of Community Management Committee (CMC): 64 (24 Female, 40 Male)
- Peacebuilding Training: 35 (7 Female, 28 Male)
- Education Activity (Adult Education): 200 (174 Female, 26 Male)
Activity Type/ Details:
1. Community orientation and sensitization:
- Contact relevant stakeholders in the Locality.
- Individual meetings to be conduct with relevant stakeholders at Locality.
- Conduct meeting with community leader, women and youth.
- Setting criteria for selecting beneficiaries.
2. Capacity building for community committee:
- Conduction of training need assessment
- Conduction of Baseline survey study.
- Community management committee training package.
3. Livelihood and food security Activities:
a. Vegetable production for 126 of refugees
- Training in vegetable production
- Training in business entrepreneurial skills
- Provision of assorted vegetable seeds
- Provision of complete set of local tools
b. Vegetable trade for refugee 20 women
- Shelter including shelves, tables to sell veg.
- Training in business entrepreneurial skills,
- Start-up capital
4. Adult Education Activities:
- TOT Training for teacher on REFLECT Methodology.
- Open of 8 adult education classes.
5. Peace building Activities:
- Peacebuilding training
- Peacebuilding campaigns (open day folklore, pen dialogue with community leaders on peacebuilding, Coffee chat by women, Sport event for peace, Community peace culture forum).
- Establish peacebuilding sub-committee within CMCs
- Awareness campaigns on peaceful co-existence, gender, HR, etc.
- Provided of sport wear and Tools for 10 teams (8 football and 2 volley ball for women
- Organize sporting events between refugees & hosts
6. Health Activities:
- Health Awareness (HIV/Aids, hygiene and reproductive health)
- Cleaning camping
