Hope and Friendship for Development Organization (HOPE) is a national, non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2014 and officially registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in February 2015. Founded by specialists in Peacebuilding and Humanitarian with field experience dating back to 2003,
HOPE works directly with local communities across Sudan. Since its foundation, HOPE has been working effectively with the vulnerable communities to building capacities of communities’ structures for transform conflicts and promoting social cohesion and integration. HOPE building capacities of community actors, natural resources management, increase access to basic services and providing assets of livelihoods. HOPE emphasizes the role of youth, children and women in the sectors activities.

HOPE is a National NGO working with local communities to deliver intervention of Saving Lives, Durable Solutions and integrated humanitarian and recovery programming, by focusing on main sectors of FSL, WASH,Health and Nutrition, Protection (GP, GBV, and CP), Education, Emergency Shelter and NFIs, Peacebuilding and Governance, and CVA.
