Child Protection sector:

Type of activities:

  • Formulation/reactivation of community based child protection networks (CBCPNs).
  • Training CBCPN members on CRC/CP, GBV, civil registry, prevention of recruitment, and Sudan Child Act 2010.
  • Revise/strengthen/update referral system pathways to CBCPN.
  • Establish and strengthen children’s clubs (CCs).
  • Medical, legal and Psychosocial Support Services (PSS) to survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation through partners and FCPU.
  • Community awareness on issues of CRC/CP, GBV.
  • Identify /register /assess/document/ and reunify theUASC with their care givers
  • Provision of education and NFIs materials for reintegrated street children
  • Provision of support for alternative care, case management, foster care of UASC with protection needs
  • Train CBCPN on positive discipline, code of conduct and child safeguarding policy.
  • Provide training to parents and community members on positive discipline in everyday parenting skills.
  • Training on psychosocial support, child rights, child protection, and Family Tracing & Reunification (FTR).
  • Construction/Rehabilitation and operation of child friendly spaces (CFSs).
  • Training on CFSs management.

Target group:

Vulnerable children in IDPs camps, host communities, in addition to street children and school children.
